The opening 26 minutes of a 2025 practical workshop on arranging repeated content with the Query Loop block. This edition retains the complete basic lesson on queries, filters, text layout, pagination and empty results. Later advanced image-grid examples and Q&A are omitted. Try the controls with a small practice collection before changing a live website.

Places to begin.

A small exercise.

  1. Step 01

    Six small entries

Write six original notes about familiar objects or projects. Give each a title, a short description and one consistent category.

  2. Step 02

    Choose what belongs

Decide which entries a page should show and in what order. Test the selection with a record that should appear and one that should stay out.

  3. Step 03

    Design one clear card

Arrange the title, short description and an optional image. Keep the hierarchy consistent across entries with different text lengths.

  4. Step 04

    Test another screen

Compare a wide view and a phone view. Check navigation, the last page and what happens when the collection is empty.
